FURY FINISHES SEASON 17-3
FURY now looks towards the playoffs ,As they finish the season with a win vs Indiana Lyons , 119 to 94. It was a great team road win going into the playoffs for us 'said head coach mike Williams '. Now the Fury sets its sights on there 1st round match up vs the Chicago rebels . The Fury won its 4th black division championship also "Its good to win the division, but we are measured bye championships in this organization, Hopefully the guys are ready to go as the playoffs is about raising your level of play . said head coach mike Williams .
FURY improve to 16-3 on the season
The FURY played there next to last game of the season in Bedford ,Ind ,We looked at the this as another task to get better " said coach Gary Scott . The team was hitting on all cylinders as they score a team record 210 points on there way to there 16th win of the season . Games like this sometime help guys find themself and the team begins to bond for the playoffs" said coach Willie Madison .The FURY also had a new scoring record set bye BRANDON DAUGTRY with 71 points in the big win . The Fury now look to end the season in 1 of the toughest places to play in the entire ABA vs the INDIANA LYONS next weekend to end the season.
FURY LOSE ON THE ROAD AGAIN
The Fury took a trip up I65 to play the tough OHIO KINGS , The fury were without its star khapri Alston and lenell watson but the fury were ready to play ,The game took a lot of turns but in the end the Ohio kings were able to pull off a 113 to 110 win dropping the fury to10-3 on the season .
FURY MOVES TO 7 & 2 ON THE SEASON
THE FURY HAD TO TAKE A HARD GAME DUE TO WEATHER IN CHICAGO VS THE STRONG WILL CHICAGO KNIGHTS IN WHICH IT TOOK EVEN SECOND TO DECIDE A WINNER . THE FURY GET BACK TO THE BASICS
The Chicago Fury have taken full advantage of there off weeks with great practices .Just getting some things cleaned up has been big for us ,Some teams fill like weve taken a step back but what i see in practices shows me we still want this ,I've seen guys coming back from injuries and the passion is still there we just played some good teams on there home floor and came up short ,we have been threw this thing and we understand what it takes to become a champion and we had time to refocus as a unit ' Said Head coach Mike Williams
FURY STUMBLES AGAIN
THE FURY LOSS IN STEEL CITY MARKS THERE 2ND LOSS IN THE NEW SEASON. WE HAVE BEEN GETTING EVERYONES BEST PUNCH , AND THE WILLINNESS OF US TO TRAVEL AND PLAY IN THESE TOUGH PLACES HOPEFULLY WILL HELP US DOWN THE ROAD "SAID HEAD COACH MIKE WILLIAMS. THE FURY GETS A MUCH NEEDED BYE WEEK IN THE UPCOMING WEEK AND THEN WILL HEAD BACK ON THE ROAD TO PLAY AKRON IN OHIO . BYE THEN WE WILL GET HEALTHLY AND SOME PRACTICES UNDER OUR BELT AND BE READY TO PLAY THE FURY WAY , WE HAVE NEW GUYS AND THEY HAVE TO ADAPT TO WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A CHAMPION , BUT I THING WE WILL BE OK "SAID HEAD COACH MIKE WILLIAMS.
FURY LOOKS TOWARDS ROAD TRIP TO ST LOUIS
The Fury looks to take its 1st of many road trips this season to ST louis a place were the fury won its last championship game in April .To face the Sprits which has become a big rivalry game. It’s going to be tough said assist coach “Gary Scott”. It’s something we look forward to every season ”said coach Willie Madison”
CHICAGO FURY WINS THERE 1st GAME OF THE NEW SEASON
THE CHICAGO FURY BEGAN THERE SEASON AGAINST THE CHICAGO REBELS, AND WERE ABLE TO GET THE FIRST WIN OF THE SEASON BYE THERE BALANCE ATTACK WHICH WAS LEAD BYE DEVANTE JONES AND KHAPRI ALSTON WITH 22 POINTS A PIECE, LENELL WATSON CHIPPED IN WITH 18 POINTS OF THE BENCH . NEW COMER PATRICK RUCKER HAD 10 POINTS 6 ASSISTS AND TRAVIS MCBRIDE PUT IN 13 POINTS AND 2 STEALS . THE FURY WON 126 to 102 AND NOW LOOK TO THERE NEXT GAME IN ST LOUIS
